I can't say enough good things about Cape Able Canines! I have been taking my dog there for the past 4.5 years for training and boarding. The training Aleita provides is top notch and has lasting positive effects on both me and my dog. She is very professional and shares her in depth knowledge on dog training. My saving grace for when I need to go out of town is taking my dog to Cape Able Canines for boarding. I know that she will be taken care of just as if she were at home. She is treated like one of their own dogs and is always excited to go and have fun. I am able to drop her off and not worry about the conditions she will be exposed to since she is not caged and is able to freely play outside with other dogs during the day. I am so thankful to Cape Able Canines for the services they provide. I don't know what we would've done without their love and care of dogs!

We brought our dog to Cape Able Canines after we adopted our dog from the pound. They really helped us teach her basic obedience and better self esteem. She is now the best dog in the world and it is due largely in part to them.

My doggy goes to Cape Able Canines twice a week and they really take care of him very well. He loves it there! They play all day so when he gets home he is so tired. No kennel time but at lunch for an hour - it's great for him!

I have taken classes with Aleita for ten years and with 2 dogs. Aleita does not train your dog FOR you, she trains YOU to be a better trainer and dog owner. I've worked through basic obedience and many specialty classes such as basic agility, tricks and games, retrieval, canine CPR and an introduction to Therapy Dog work. I was thrilled when Cape-able Canines offered boarding in addition to the day care. I can leave my dog knowing she is safe, loved, and best of all, TIRED from day care all day. After an 11 day vacation, my dog thinks Cape-able Canines is her second home, and that Aleita and Michelle are her family - but better than family, because of the Cape-able Canine experience and knowledge of dog behavior.I highly recommend Cape-able Canines for people that are interested in learning why his or her dog behaves the way they do, and how to make their relationship with their dog more meaningful and fulfilling.

First used Aleita 10 yrs ago and again now with a new dog. Aleita is realistic about what dogs are and can be, but has never made good/bad value judgments about dog or owner. If you want someone who will teach you how to train your dog properly, whatever kind of dog you have (shy, dominant, etc.), then Aleita is an excellent choice. Readily available to answer questions outside of class. If you want someone who will gush all over you and encourage you in making exceptions for "your special situation" then you're in the wrong place. We learned what happens by ignoring many of Aleita's lessons with our 1st dog, so we are working harder the 2nd time around. Which is the point -- being a responsible dog owner is not easy.

 I had several classes with Aleita and some of her trainers and I can only say good things about this school and its owner. I have learned things about my dog Diggitty that I would never have learned without the proffesional training. People expect too much on puppy training and what they dont realize is the initial dog training is more for the handler than the dog. Nice super clean facility and a true luxury boarding for your pet... Highly recommended if you want a happy dog.

We bring our dog here 2 days a week for daycare and she loves it. We have also took some classes here. Everytime we leave town the only place our dog stays is with them. They are the best!!!! I take my dog here two times a week for daycare. We are also in the puppy class. I belive Aleita is one of the best trainers out there. She really knows what she is talking about. You get what you pay for. Michelle is always happy to see us in the morning, and takes the time in the evening to tell me about my dogs day. All I know is everytime we walk up to the door my dog gets very happy. They must be doing something right!

Michelle Leone is awesome.... she is so knowledgeable about dogs of all breeds. If only we lived closer, so that we can bring our beloved labrador Athena to Capable-Canines (Day Care).

My husband & I have been using Cape-Able Canines for training & doggy daycare & boarding ever since we got our puppy in April. This place has a dog-friendly, homey atmosphere and friendly staff. It is very convenient to drop off/pick up our pup for day-care and they will accommodate you for earlier or later times. Our puppy is always excited to stay here. We've boarded her several times and she has come back as happy as when we left her. I'm impressed that the dogs boarded are allowed to sleep where their owner prefers and in the same room with an employee - so it is a very homelike experience. The dogs are supervised at all times and there are separate areas for dogs that may have special needs. The facilities are clean and comfortable and especially suited for dogs. We wouldn't take our pup anywhere else!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I can't say enough good things about Cape-Able Canines. We originally started coming here 6 years ago for obedience training when we first got our 2 year old rescue dog. We had an excellent experience at both training classes and learned a lot about being dog owners. Our dog has separation anxiety from her time at the Humane Society and does not like caged boarding. Cape-Able Canines was here to our rescue. Our dog LOVES staying here and it is worth EVERY penny because as soon as I drop her off, I know she is in good hands and I don't have to worry one bit. They treat her like their very own dogs and she is part of the family when she is there. Cape-Able Canines has been my saving grace on last minute business trips, long vacations and regular out of town events. I am so grateful for their service and would recommend it to anyone.
